Elena Gonzalez, LMFT is a licensed psychotherapist in CA, FL, NC, and CT. She is a native Russian speaker who has 13 years of experience in the field of mental health providing services to individuals of all ages and families from a variety of cultural backgrounds, especially those from Russian-speaking regions. During her evaluations of adults, children, and teenagers, she utilizes a variety of standardized assessment tools in addition to conducting a comprehensive analysis of family history, education, employment, and economic information, history of traumatic events, as well as examining family dynamics and mental health and how these factors may be contributing to the stressors experienced by the individual or family member(s).


I am a multicultural and highly trained therapist with over seven years experience working as a licensed mental health professional. I’m a immigrant from Jamaica as well as my husband is from the Dominican Republic who is also a immigrant. I have a passion for helping families get on the path to citizenship. I have advanced training working with individuals with trauma and anxiety as well as I have been doing immigration evaluation for the past three years with a 90 percent success approval rate according to the attorneys I work with. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in the state of Connecticut and I am in good standing with the Department of Public Health. I earned my Master of Social Work from Graduate School of Social Services Fordham University and have ten years of clinical experience working with individuals of all ages with a wide range of mental health disorders (PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, etc) in outpatient settings. I have particular expertise in the area of clinical assessment and psychological evaluations. Over the past years, I have conducted many psychological evaluations to assist immigrants in their immigration process, and find it rewarding to help clients be able to get their cases approved. Evaluations are conducted via Telehealth only and I am available on Friday’s, Saturday’s, or Sunday’s.


Hello! I've been in practice since 2007 and have offered evaluations since 2015. My evaluations are thorough and well-researched, offering a narrative of relevant details of clients' lives as well as incorporating clinical research and peer-reviewed journals.

In addition to evaluations, I provide grief counseling to men and women of all ages as well as teach online courses about all things grief. Since the focus area of my therapy practice is grief, it offers a unique perspective when working with immigrant families.

At this time, my virtual practice is located in Michigan. I am licensed and offer virtual evaluations to clients located in CT, IN, and MI.


Dr. Osorio offers psychological evaluations for individuals navigating waiver- and trauma-related immigration cases. Throughout her clinical experiences, she has worked with individuals with a history of trauma, domestic violence, and abuse. For over a decade, Dr. Osorio has provided psychological services to the immigrant population and understands their unique needs.

Dr. Osorio has experience as a forensic and correctional psychologist. She has worked with individuals who have been convicted of sexual offenses, both in the community and state and federal prison settings. She conducts evaluations for No Risk Exception for Adam Walsh cases, Risk Assessments, Substance Abuse, etc.
