LCSW, LICSW

Personally (through my travel) and professionally, I have had the opportunity to know and work with different cultural groups across many continents. Because of this, I have developed the ability to relate to and understand many different cultures. Additionally, I have had the great opportunity to serve (host) students from abroad. I became interested in completing immigration evaluations when I witnessed an immigrant client suffer through psychological, mental, and emotional abuse by his wife/sponsor. I was able to work with him and connect him with the necessary immigration resources that allowed him to walk away from his abusive marriage. My hope is to continue to support others in experiencing the true freedom that he/she desires.

LCMHCS, LCAS
Graduate of the Immigration Evaluation Institute

I have been a Licensed Mental health therapist in NC since 2010. I am also fluent in Spanish. Unlike other therapists who may have their regular caseload of clients they see for ongoing therapy in addition to conducting immigration evaluations, I solely focus on conducting evaluations for immigration only. This means I am able to offer my full attention to serve the clients who are seeking immigration evaluations. This has allowed me to write detailed and thorough evaluations in a timely manner and communicate with my clients lawyer/paralegals in a timely manner. I understand the importance of how time sensitive the evaluations must be completed. Lastly, I offer in person and virtual sessions. However, if a client would like to see me virtually, they must live in the state of North Carolina. If the client lives outside of NC, not a problem! I can see them if they are willing to travel to one of my 2 locations. They will only need to travel one time to complete the evaluation.
