Dr. Brauman is an experienced forensic psychologist with a fair and compassionate approach to evaluations. In coordination with attorneys and/or USCIS, Dr. Brauman conducts psychological evaluations to assist with a variety of immigration-related concerns, including Asylum, Extreme Hardship VAWA, U-Visa, T-visa, etc. She also assesses for competency to participate in immigration proceedings. She produces comprehensive written reports/affidavits of her findings and often provides expert testimony in the Courtroom.

I was awarded the American Psychological Association’s Citizen Psychologist award for my outreach with this population.

As a trauma-informed licensed mental health professional, I specialize in providing culturally sensitive care to marginalized communities (BIPOC & LGBTQIA+). I have advanced training in trauma and substance use disorders and have worked with individuals with a history of trauma, domestic violence, abuse, and addictions.

I have over 12 years of experience conducting mental health and chemical health evaluations. I also have obtained advanced training at the Immigration Evaluation Institute with Cecilia Racine, in conducting mental health evaluations specifically for immigration cases.

All sessions are virtual (telehealth) to accommodate flexibility, you can do the sessions from the comfort of your home for clients in Minnesota.
