Hello, I am a psychologist and I have worked with patients from the BIPOC community in therapy for over 30 years. I have experience working with patients in urban, rural, and suburban areas that have included patients from the Caribbean, Central, and South America as well as African and Asian cultures. I specialize in treating trauma, including childhood and sexual trauma, domestic violence, immigration, cultural adaptation, and cultural factors in mental health. I obtained my degree from an APA accredited program at The Pennsylvania State University and I completed an internship at New York University-Bellevue Hospital. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. Born in Boston to immigrant parents from Haiti be Cameroon, Anim developed a passion for helping immigrants and those from minority communities early on. She attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst for her bachelor's in public health and later completed her master's in clinical social work at Salem State University.
Anim hopes to devote her career to supporting more victims of trauma by providing culturally responsive trauma therapy and support.
