I am have worked with the LatinX community my entire career, largely due to also being a native Spanish speaker. This includes, children, teens, families, and survivors of violence. I have been described as down-to-Earth, easy to talk to, and not overly "doctor-y". I strive to build rapport before delving into anything too quickly. I am detail oriented and thorough. My parent are Mexican immigrants that grew up in extreme poverty. I am a second generation immigrant and though my experience is different that a first generation immigrant, I have deep respect and empathy towards those who had to endure the pain of fleeing negative circumstances and violence. I hope you will consider me when looking for someone to do the evaluation. Feel free to call or email me anytime!
