I am Dr. Janice A. Moran, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor licensed in Texas, Colorado, and Utah. With a Ph.D. in Family Therapy and EMDR training, I provide trauma-informed, strengths-based immigration evaluations. Being totally blind since birth has strengthened my ability to deeply listen and intuitively understand my clients’ emotions. My extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities informs my holistic, empathetic approach. Providing immigration mental health evaluations allows me to advocate for individuals navigating complex legal and emotional challenges. I conduct thorough telehealth evaluations via phone or video for hardship waivers, asylum cases, U and T visas, and VAWA petitions. My reports are detailed, clinically sound, and designed to help attorneys and clients present compelling evidence. I am dedicated to using my expertise to help individuals and families seek safety, stability, and justice.
