Dr. José Guerra, PsyD, LMFT, provides immigration psychological evaluations for individuals involved in immigration court cases throughout California and Nevada. Based in Los Angeles, he conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations for Asylum, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), and U-Visa.

Dr. Guerra has extensive experience working with survivors of domestic violence, trauma, immigrant LGBTQ+ and family separation. His trauma-informed evaluations carefully document the psychological impact of abuse, hardship, and fear of return to support immigration legal cases.

He collaborates closely with immigration attorneys to provide clear, objective psychological reports that meet clinical and legal standards for immigration proceedings. Services are available via telehealth throughout California and Nevada, as well as in-person in the Los Angeles area. Evaluations are offered in English and Spanish, with timely report turnaround to help meet court and legal deadlines.
