My love for other cultures started out as a child when my family hosted over 6 exchange in our home. I studied Spanish and Latin American studies in college and volunteered in Bolivia for a semester with sexually exploited women. Later, I lived overseas in Papua New Guinea, which grew my worldview, and most importantly, showed me how vulnerable it can be living in a foreign land where very few know my language, being so far from friends and family! Today, my family and I also like to serve with International Friendship Outreach at the local university because we know how much friends from other cultures can enrich our lives. My passion is helping people! I am licensed in Arkansas to assess, diagnose and treat mental health disorders and currently work in AR as a trauma-informed therapist. I am offering confidential, compassionate, trauma-informed evaluations done digitally over Telehealth and interpreter-friendly.
