MEd., LMHC

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State (License #LH61647907) with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. I conduct immigration evaluations in both Mandarin and English, with deep understanding of Asian cultural values, family dynamics, and the unique psychosocial pressures faced by Asian and immigrant communities.

My clinical background includes hundreds of psychological assessments across community mental health settings, with extensive experience working with immigrants navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and acculturative stress. Diagnostic assessment is a core component of my practice.

I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for Hardship Waivers (I-601/I-601A), Asylum, and VAWA cases. My reports are thorough, trauma-informed, and written to meet legal standards. Rush processing is available.

I am a bilingual and bicultural Licensed Psychologist in California and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. I am a native Cantonese speaker and am proficient in Chinese Mandarin. I have over 20 years of experience offering mental health services to immigrants and families from diverse backgrounds in various settings, including primary care clinics, community-based programs, substance abuse and detoxification centers, correctional facilities, and inpatient treatment centers. Since 2020, I have maintained a private practice offering psychological and neuropsychological evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults. While I offer virtual assessments for asylum, hardship waivers, and VAWA to clients in NY and CA, I can only conduct in-person assessments to clients in CA who require a Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions (N-648).

LMHC-D, LPC

Trilingual (Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and English) licensed psychotherapist in New York and New Jersey, trained at Columbia University. No interpreter needed, which means more nuance, fewer gaps, and a more accurate report.

As an immigrant myself, I bring a firsthand understanding of the experiences that are often hardest to put into words. I have clinical experience serving immigrant and multicultural communities across New York and New Jersey.

I offer a 14-day standard turnaround, faster than most practices, which typically take 3 to 4 weeks.

Cases I evaluate: extreme hardship, asylum, U visa, T visa, and VAWA.
