Welcome! Being born and raised in Mexico allowed me to become familiarized with the challenges of acculturation and our ever-changing cultural identity. I strive to end mental health stigma and provide culturally appropriate care for our communities.

For the past 6 years, I've been helping immigrants and first-generation individuals with histories of trauma; especially generational trauma, depression, and anxiety. I take a holistic, trauma-informed approach to treat cultural issues and life transitions. I am bilingual and provide services in both English and Spanish.

I currently have morning and evening appointments and some weekends spots. I work via telehealth and my fees are competitive; I also offer payment plans. You can learn more about me at psychologytoday.com/profile/1378882

Survivors of oppression and trauma by being justice-focused, affirming and collaborative

I am passionate about trauma informed care, restorative justice and harm reduction. Worked in all three areas throughout state of California predominantly in Bay Area and Los Angeles. My work with clients filmed in documentary and podcasts. Growing up exposed to community violence and oppressions speaks volumes in my work and faith to universe and healing ❤️‍???? components.

People are experts in their own needs and experiences. I work in a  practice that is affirming of people of color, undocumented folks, sex workers, kink, polyamory, and LGBTQ+ communities. Ancestral healing is, in essence, being able to look to ancestors in the past and present — living ancestors, as well — and connect with them!

As an immigrant myself who had to go through the process with immigration, I understand first hand the enormous responsibility I assume when conducting these evaluations whit empathy and understanding of the community. As a therapist who has a vast experience working with the immigrant population I am conscious of the need for psychotherapist that will have the perspective needed to be able to give a profesional, trauma focus, objective evaluation.
