LMFT, CCTP-II

I am a systemically trained therapist who has provided therapeutic services to refugee and immigrant populations in an agency setting for 8 years. I am especially experienced in working with survivors of human trafficking and working alongside agencies that serve survivors of intimate partner violence. This has given me the knowledge and experience within complex systems these populations navigate and provide an opportunity for them to find healing, justice, the resources, and the life they have been seeking.

One can read Attorneys reviews on my web page: www.girshfeld.com
I do not count hours, I work until I like Report and Attorney likes it. Some people said they do 3-4 Reports per month. I do not know how it is possible to make a good quality document within one week. I work full time and do one Report per month. Sometimes, if it is urgent I can do it faster.

LMHC and LPC
Graduate of the Immigration Evaluation Institute

I have been trained to provide psychosocial evaluations for both humanitarian/trauma based cases and hardship waivers. I speak both Spanish and English and previously have experience working as a paralegal for an immigration lawyer and am familiar with the various legal processes of filing for status.

My approach aims to work closely with both client and attorney to provide quality detailed reports. Throughout the evaluation, I strive to offer a compassionate and supportive environment as I know it can be challenging to discuss the traumatic event(s).

Assessments include 1-2 interviews and a final report. I have more immediate availability for clients who want to see an evaluator sooner rather than later.

*I hold a limited number of pro-bono, sliding scale and/or discounted psycho-social evaluations. Payment plans available as needed*
