As a mental health therapist specializing in immigrant families, my unique approach stems from my personal experience as a child of immigrant parents. This background provides me with a deep understanding of the challenges and cultural nuances faced by immigrant families. My attentiveness to each family's specific circumstances and my compassion for their experiences set me apart from other therapists. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and valued. My knowledge of cultural dynamics and personal connection to immigrant communities enable me to tailor therapeutic interventions that resonate with my clients, fostering resilience and promoting mental well-being.

I have 10 years of clinical experience, and have specialized experience working with the LGBTQ+ community (including providing letters in support of gender affirming surgery), those in recovery from substances, people living with HIV and chronic pain, and those who have endured traumatic experiences.

I am trained in EMDR, Mentalization Based Therapy, and also like to incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative therapy into my work. I am willing to work with an interpreter and also provide services via telehealth. Please feel welcome to reach out to me directly for more information.
